Screening Requirements:
Talent Merchants employs appropriate screening methods to ensure that any personnel presented for consideration has all the appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the services required for the desired term. Talent Merchants will verify interest in the place of potential employment, negotiate an hourly rate and confirm a commitment for the length of the contract. We will also ensure that the candidate is compatible with your company culture.

Submission of Eligible Candidates:
Talent Merchants shall submit only the top 2 candidates that best fit the specific project requirements and budget. The candidate’s availability date and hourly bill rate and/or annual salary requirements will be presented at the time of resume submittal, unless otherwise requested.

Interviews:
Talent Merchants is responsible for coordinating interviews and providing the candidate with directions to the client site.

Reference Checks:
Talent Merchants performs reference checks on all candidates being placed at client sites. The results of the reference checks are available for viewing.

Proprietary Information and Inventions:
All client information supplied to consultant shall be held in strictest confidence, and all products and materials, including but not limited to software, hardware, documentation, programs and any and all other source information developed and shall remain the sole Property of the client, and under no circumstances may be retained, sold or reproduced by any means, and consultant shall have no rights, patent rights, or copyrights to said products and materials.

Taxes and Compliance with Laws:
Talent Merchants is responsible for withholding and paying all federal, state, and local income and social security taxes for its employees and for paying the employers share of these taxes. We comply fully with all federal, state and local laws regarding employment, including wage-hour, equal opportunity, harassment policies and immigration laws.

Insurance:
Talent Merchants maintains an umbrella policy in the amount of $5,000,000.00 and coverage for any errors and omissions committed by a consultant during the performance of any duties or assignment. On request, we are able to provide a certificate of insurance evidencing such insurance.

Ending the Assignment:
Talent Merchants will notify consultant when the assignment is completed, alleviating the managerís of this responsibility. Weíll take care of the final check and making sure all of your materials are returned.

Exit Interviews:
Talent Merchants conducts exit interviews of both the client and the candidate to ensure quality and maintain relationships.
